Per tradition, Stephen and I attended the Lehigh football game yesterday at Goodman Stadium. When there's a home game, we like to spend the morning tailgating with our friends before heading over to the stadium to watch the game. As we approached the stadium, we couldn't help but notice the L.L.Bean Bootmobile parked out in front, and since it was the Bootmobile that drove in the World Series parade in Boston, I just had to get a picture of us with it.

In case you were wondering... there's nothing quite like standing next to a giant boot to remind you just how short you are.

Tailgates generally leave us with plenty of leftovers, so I'm giving myself a Sunday night off from cooking so we can work on eating the Italian Sausage and White Bean Stew that we didn't put in the freezer for future use.

(We learned that preparing the recipe "as is" would have yielded more than enough to share at tailgates. Doubling the recipe is not required.)

As for the rest of the week, here's what we've got goin' on:

Menu Plan: November 10 - November 16, 2013

Sunday: Leftovers

Monday: Girls' Night Out with my friend Florence

Tuesday: Pepperoni Pizza Skins (recipe testing at its finest)

Wednesday: Stephen's Choice

Thursday: Israeli Couscous with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes and Pine Nuts (adapted from Step-by-Step Vegetarian: The Perfect Guide to Meat-Free Meals)

Friday: Pizza with Mushrooms and Ricotta

Saturday: Potluck Party at our friends' house

What's on your Menu Plan this week?
