George's Oasis Restaurant - Allentown, PA

While Stephen and I love our weekend tradition of going out for brunch on Sundays, there are times when we simply can't linger over our food or bottomless cups of coffee. Thankfully, there's a restaurant not too far from us where we can go to enjoy a quick meal without having to sacrifice on the quality of the food.

Even during peak breakfast/brunch hours, Stephen and I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table or for seats at the counter. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive, never letting our coffee mugs get empty.

One of my favorite things to order is the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich with a side order of Home Fries. Chunks of bacon are cooked into the eggs, almost like an omelette, and then the egg mixture is folded to fit onto the bun. Honestly, I'm not sure why more restaurants don't prepare their egg sandwiches this way... it's borderline brilliant! Plus, they always cook the home fries just the way I like them -- golden brown and crispy on one side and tender and creamy on the other.

The next you're looking to grab some breakfast while on the go, then stop by George's. They'll have you in to eat and out with a happy, full belly in no time!
