The Omnivore's Hundred

A coworker brought this food meme posted by Andrew on the blog Very Good Taste to my attention over lunch today. Andrew compiled a list of 100 things that he thought "every good omnivore should have tried at least once in their life. The list includes fine food, strange food, everyday food and even some pretty bad food - but a good omnivore should really try it all." He's provided links of explanations for some of the lesser known items, thanks to Wikipedia.

So, I thought I would follow his instructions and see how many items this self-proclaimed foodie has actually tried. Take a look at the list and see how many you've tried. I'd love to compare results!

Instructions (slightly altered)
1. Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2. Change the font color of all items you've eaten from black to red.

I got a kick out of this list too when I saw it last week, but I like how you've presented it here. Cool blog

stumbled your post some time last week. I seem to have tried all the more exotic items on the list, but most of what is part of the american diet is unavailable in continental europe. enjoy all the delicious possibilities you have!

here is my list
... - Do you think you could repost the link to your list? It appears to be broken.
