60 Ultimate Cookie Exchange Recipes {and When It's Time to End It}

If you're looking for a winning recipe for your holiday cookie swaps, then scroll through this round-up  of 60 Ultimate Cookie Exchange Recipes on Taste As You Go!   Do you ever get That Feeling in your gut when you realize that what once brought you happiness now fills you with dread? You know the one... It's That Same Feeling that causes you to ask yourself repeatedly " Why am I doing this again?" I've been trying to battle that super persistent feeling for the past few weeks by giving myself little pep talks: "Don't give up now. You DO want to do this!"  "Don't you remember how much you used to love doing this? Just keep going!" " Do it one more time and you'll see -- everything will be fine. You'll feel much better once you get it over with." But no matter how many times I tried to get excited about it, I found a reason to avoid doing it. (Thank you, Caroline.) Country Bob's Cookbook

Earlier this week, I received an unexpected package in the mail from the folks at Country Bob's. The shape of the package was too flat, so I knew they didn't send me some more bottles of Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce so I could make some more meatloaf. When I opened it up, I found that Country Al, my fellow FoodBuzz foodie, had sent me another lovely gift -- a copy of Country's Bob's Cookbook!

The cookbook is divided into four sections: Appetizers, Soups, and Snacks; Grilling; Main Dishes; and Desserts. Yes, desserts! A quick peek at that section revealed that only two of the dessert recipes actually call for Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce -- the "Fruit Cocktail Cake" (page 88) and the "Incredible Fudge" (page 94). Most intriguing! I never would have thought to add a steak sauce-like ingredient in a sweet dessert.

I am quite honored to be the recipient of a complimentary copy of their very first cookbook. It not only offers a wonderful assortment of recipes (not all of which use Country Bob's products), but it also features some luscious photography. As I've just received the cookbook this week, I haven't had the opportunity to try any of the recipes yet, but as soon as I do, I'm sure you all will be the first to hear about it!

For those interested in ordering their own copy of Country Bob's Cookbook, you can do so here.
