Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

Menu Plan: October 6 - October 12

Fenway Park - Boston, MA

Aside from spending all my free time working on some freelance projects, I've been glued to the television watching the Red Sox play the Rays in the ALDS. After witnessing the spectacular demise of my favorite baseball team at the end of last season, I'm super excited to see them playing on into October.

But life isn't only about baseball (as much as I hate to admit it), and there are plenty of other things I should be concentrating on this weekend. Like organizing our Menu Plan for the week. Without further ado, here it is!

Menu Plan: October 6 - October 12, 2013

Sunday: Cajun Chicken Pasta

Monday: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Tomato Soup

Tuesday: Ground Turkey Taco Night

Wednesday: Dinner out with Friends

Roasted Shrimp | Taste As You Go

Thursday: Creamy Parmesan Risotto with Roasted Shrimp and Peas

Friday: Pizza with Mushrooms and Ricotta

Saturday: Fall Festival Festivities

I have another freelance deadline looming in front of me this week, so I'm going to enjoy not having to worry about dinner for two nights. As strange as it sounds, I'm grateful to have some of the pressure off my shoulders.

So... what's on your Menu Plan this week?
