Well, would you look at that... It's Sunday evening and yet another weekend is coming to an end. I'm not sure how your weekend went, but Stephen and I had a relatively quiet one (with less running around than usual), and I really enjoyed the slower pace.

We kicked the weekend off with a birthday celebration for Monty (I promise, he was way more excited about turning one than the above picture indicates), spent a rainy Saturday making questionable food choices and wandering around Target, and then had a lovely late-morning brunch before digging into our regular Sunday routines. We both have to-do lists a mile long, but I know we both benefited greatly from slowing down.

It's been a few months since we've seen my family, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them this coming weekend. And... I'm pretty sure Monty is excited about having another chance to see Chloe (my parents' dog).
