Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

Sharing our Menu Plan for February 1 - February 7, 2015

With Stephen traveling for the majority of the week, I was going to skip writing out a formal menu plan because it didn't make sense to go to all of that work to prepare meals for just myself. But then we heard the weather forecast for the early part of the week.

Since another snowstorm is due to hit our area with the threat of ice and multiple inches worth of snow accumulation, I changed my mind about the menu plan. Better to have a solid idea of the food I have on hand with several dinner options rather than go with the "wing it" method. Plus, a trip to the grocery store before the storm (and before the store filled up with people looking to buy supplies for their Super Bowl parties) meant that I could pick up some ingredients required for a couple of recipes that I've been meaning to try.

Keep reading if you're curious to see what's on deck for dinner for us (but mostly me) this week!

Friday: White Pizza with Fresh Arugula and Prosciutto

This white pizza was on last week's menu plan, but by the time we got to Friday, I didn't want to run out to the store to pick up the handful of ingredients that I needed to pull it all together. We wound up having a homemade plain cheese pizza instead.
