Sharing our Menu Plan for March 1 - March 7, 2015
I'm a little more than four weeks away from my due date and trying to enjoy every last peaceful moment before the baby arrives. Like the moment I captured in the above photo... I had a few minutes before I had to leave the house this afternoon to meet some of my former coworkers for lunch, and I just sat with Monty in my lap (or what's left of it).
I could have spent that time writing baby shower thank-you cards or sorting piles of paperwork in my office, but I chose to stay quiet and focus on our sweet dog, who has already sensed that big things are on the horizon. I want him to know that I still love him even though I can't get down on the floor and play with him like I used to.
Things are going to change in every area of my life, including here, on Taste As You Go. Although I have goals and good intentions that involve sticking to a regular publication schedule, I have absolutely no way of knowing what life will be like once the baby is here or how Stephen and I will handle adjusting to parenthood. I know there's no way that I can promise to blog regularly... but I do know that I can promise I'll continue to blog when life allows.
I love sharing my recipes and restaurant reviews with you. I also love sharing my stories and little glimpses into my life that have nothing to do with food. I just hope you'll all stay with me during these next few months... because, honestly, it's only going to get better from here.
With that said, I'm pretty excited to be sharing our menu plan for the week. Not necessarily because I'm preparing anything terribly exotic but because I actually created the menu plan in the first place. That right there is a big deal in my world. ;-)
