Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

Breakfast at Blue Sky at The State - Easton, PA

Ever since Caroline was born, Stephen has assumed most of the dinner-related responsibilities, from calling in and picking up take-out orders to running to the grocery store and throwing together meals on the fly. Earlier this week, he mentioned how much he missed (and appreciated!) the menu planning I used to do. It eliminated the need to have the whole "what do you want for dinner?"conversation every night.

In order to decrease the number of phone calls we're making to restaurants and our reliance on carry-out cuisine, Stephen and I have made the grown-up decision to get back to cooking. That means a return to menu planning. Anything that will make the job easier, right?

If you're curious to see what's on deck for dinner for us this week, then keep reading!
