I had my postpartum appointment with my doctor yesterday and was given the green light to start working out again. I haven't gone for a decent run since my first trimester and I'm dying to get out there and do something good for my body outside of the walks around the neighborhood that I take with the baby. Besides, nothing motivates me to lace up my running shoes more than a sunny afternoon. Except, maybe, the idea of losing the last of my pregnancy weight (seven pounds to go!).
