Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

Menu Plan: May 10 - May 16

Sharing our Menu Plan for May 10 - May 16.

With Mother's Day, my birthday (I turn 35 tomorrow... gulp), and a rather packed schedule, it looks like I won't be doing very much cooking this week. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm only planning on cooking dinner twice.

Just once if Stephen decides to spoil the birthday girl with another night off from cooking. ;-)

I've decided to share our menu plan for the week regardless of the fact that I'll be out of the kitchen more often than I'll be in it. So... if you're curious to see what's on deck for dinner for us on the nights I will be cooking, then keep reading!

Menu Plan: May 10 - May 16, 2015

Sunday: Dinner Out (Mother's Day)

Monday: Pan-Seared Scallops, Crispy Thai Brussels Sprouts from Healthy Aperture, and Wild Rice

Tuesday: Ground Turkey Taco Night with Homemade Taco Seasoning

Wednesday: Stephen's Choice

Thursday - Saturday: Dinner Out

Looks lame, right? I told you... my calendar is full, so cooking every night just isn't in the cards. Hopefully, things will be back on track again next week. If you have suggestions as to what I should make, then feel free to let me know in the comments below.

Before I dash off, I want to wish all of the moms out there a Happy Mother's Day. As a new mom, I'm definitely planning on treasuring every second of it! xo
