Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

What's for Dinner: January 12 - January 18

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

These past several days have been tough. Stephen was out of town for work, leaving me to juggle everything on the home front... And now I'm out of town for a conference.

I knew we'd only have a couple of hours at best to coordinate after he got home. So I did my best to get things in order over the course of the week. I created the menu plan and ordered the necessary groceries. I ran from work to our sweet girl's first swimming lesson... and then on to the news that our toddler is ready to take potty training more seriously.

I wasn't anticipating adding potty training to the agenda for Saturday. So, of course, progress on my to-do list was sporadic. But I pushed through and managed to tackle the majority of the laundry and cook two dinners. This way, Stephen only had to reheat meals for him and the kids rather than cook much of anything from scratch.

Unfortunately, I didn't finish everything on my list like I wanted to... which is why our menu plan is coming to you so late tonight. I had to wait to sit down and write this post until after my conference sessions wrapped... and after stuffing myself full of Southern food before retreating to my hotel room.

Before I crash, here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week.
