It's Sunday again.

And after solo-parenting for the past few days while my husband was traveling for work, I'm tired.

No, I'm exhausted.

Every time a work trip pops up on the calendar, I forget about how much mental energy goes into life at home. I also had a work event this time around, so I'm pretty drained.

Because of that, I find it interesting that I'm in the situation I'm in right now. We had a decent amount of family fun yesterday... and I'm still ahead of schedule with my usual weekend activities. I'm almost finished with the laundry. And I have had a pot of homemade chicken stock simmering on the stove since this morning.

Now I'm taking advantage of a quiet house -- the kids are outside -- so I can write this post while the sun is still in the sky. Before I jinx anything, here's what's for dinner at our house this week!

(PS. For those wondering, the kids are wearing Dudley Stephens tops, this one and this one. Use this link for $25 off your first order of $120 or more!)
