I glanced at the clock right before I started writing this week's menu plan post. Of course, it's much later than I thought it was... and later than I wanted to start writing.

The truth is, I could have started writing earlier. But I filled my daylight hours with other things.

Like laundry. And cooking. And finally watering my one remaining living plant.

I did some decluttering and finished reading the book I started reading last month. I joined the kids for a round of dominoes and made time for a hobby that brings me peace.

While sharing our menu plans each week is important to me... those other things that took my attention today? They were more important.

Before I grab that last load of laundry from the dryer, here's our menu plan for this week. Give it a read if you're curious!

A Week of Dinners: January 15 - January 21

I don't plan on doing too much cooking ahead of time this week. I might make the bacon the night before I need it, but that will all depend on how agreeable the kids are being with their after-school responsibilities.

What do you have planned for dinner at your house this week?
