You might remember that our family typically waits until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas. Namely because I'm a huge believer in enjoying the current season without jumping ahead to the next.
Over the years, I’ve made very intentional choices about how we decorate and where we decorate. Room by room, year by year, we’ve added trees throughout the house — because there’s nothing cozier than walking into a room and finding a lit tree waiting for you.
Thanks to my continuing partnership with King of Christmas, this is the year I finally get to set up a tree in the primary bedroom.

Knowing that we don't have a lot of extra space in the bedroom, I opted for the 7.5' Royal Fir Slim Artificial Christmas Tree Unlit tree and crossed my fingers that the top of the tree wouldn't scrape the ceiling.
(I'm not known for my spatial awareness, so I wasn't convinced that my multiple measurements meant that the tree would fit.)

Especially once the package arrived.
It took two of us to get the box into the house, so I was a little nervous about what I'd find inside.

Once I opened the box, I realized I had nothing to worry about. Each of the three Christmas tree sections was wrapped individually to protect the branches and the pine needles.

While I knew it would be difficult to move the box upstairs without help, each section was easy to move on its own. I started with the stand, which fit perfectly in the chosen corner for the Christmas tree.

I loved that each section naturally unfolded once assembled. Each main branch locked into place, and the smaller branches could be repositioned to fill any gaps.

So good! 😍
Here are the details:
- 7.5 feet tall and 42 inches wide
- Height includes the tree stand
- Blend of realistic and classic needles
- Handcrafted for exceptional detail
- Unlit - perfect for DIY

Clearly, a strand of 200 lights isn't enough. 🤣
One Tree at a Time
Adding a tree to the primary bedroom has been on my list for a while now, and I'm grateful to King of Christmas for helping make it happen this year. The slim profile was exactly the right call for the space, and I think the tree fits beautifully without overwhelming the room.
Now comes the fun part: figuring out a theme. I’m thinking something simple and elegant — whites, silvers, and soft warm lights. A bedroom tree feels like it deserves a quieter, more intentional look than the trees in the rest of the house.
But first... Thanksgiving. 🍂
In the meantime, follow me on Instagram — that’s where I’ll be sharing updates as I start decorating. I have a feeling the bedroom tree is going to be a favorite!
If you’re in the market for an artificial Christmas tree this season, I’d encourage you to check out King of Christmas. With so many varieties to choose from, there really is something that'll fit in every home, no matter what your style!
Do you have a tree in every room, or do you keep it to one? I’d love to know how you decorate for the holidays. 👇
