Yes, you read that right.
It's October, and I'm sharing a blog post about holiday decor.
Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands.
I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!
A New Beginning for the Holidays
We moved into our new house last fall, and as we began decorating for the holidays, we realized that what worked in our old home didn’t quite fit this new space.
This time around, I’m starting with a blank slate, focusing my decorating efforts on the study. That's where the fireplace is, and my goal is to make that space cozy and inviting.
Unboxing the Royal Fir Collection
Naturally, I was drawn to the Royal Fir Collection 4-Piece Set with Warm White LED Lights. Its classic look adds elegance to the room without being overwhelming.

What’s Included:
- Two Trees: 3 feet tall, 18 inches wide—perfect for the hearth.
- Garland: 9’ x 10” for the fireplace mantel.
- Wreath: 24” x 24” to hang above the mantel.
Setting everything up was a breeze! Each piece was easy to unpack, and shaping the branches was easy to do. Our kids even helped shape the trees, giving them a natural look.
Convenient Features
Although we don’t have outlets near the fireplace, that’s not an issue. The trees and garland can be powered by the attached plugs or by the provided battery packs, which we chose to use.
While the battery packs require three D batteries each, they can easily be hidden behind the trees and under the garland.
Bonus?
The battery packs also come with an automatic timer setting: 6 hours on and 18 hours off. This means I won’t have to worry about turning everything off before bed—such a time-saver!
A Personal Touch
Arranging the pre-lit garland on the mantel brought back fond memories of my mom, who draped garlands over every possible surface in our home during the holidays. I think she would be pleased with how this set turned out!
After some deliberation, I decided to hang the wreath on our front door instead of above the mantel. (I just need to add a festive bow on the wreath to give it a little bit more texture.) This choice gives me more room to play with other decorations once I dig them out after Thanksgiving.
But let’s be honest: the fir trees and garland are so beautiful when lit that I might just leave them out until then! 😉
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking to elevate your holiday decor this season, I recommend checking out the offerings from King of Christmas. Their elegant pieces not only enhance your space but also create a cozy atmosphere for family gatherings all season long.
And with so many varieties to choose from, there's something that'll fit in every home, no matter what your style!
