For 2015, Nestlé has expanded their collection of Easter chocolate to include items featuring the Peanuts® Gang.
Nestlé NestEggs |
According to the National Confectioners Association, Easter ranks as the nation's second top-selling candy holiday behind Halloween. In fact, candy tops the list of gifts that consumers shop for during the Easter season. This year, Nestlé's® Easter candy collection is offering something for everyone in the family to enjoy, including some brand-new chocolate products featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts® Gang.

Nestlé® NestEggs |
Nestlé's popular NestEggs are now available in four different varieties:
- Nestlé Butterfinger NestEggs
- Nestlé Crunch NestEggs
- Nestlé Crunch Peanut Butter-Filled NestEggs
- Nestlé Crunch Creamy Caramel-Filled NestEggs
Nestlé® NestEggs |
Of course, I had to try all four to see which one I liked the best. It didn't surprise me that I favored the Caramel-Filled NestEggs over the others... there's just something about the combination of caramel and chocolate that I find simply irresistible.
Nestlé® Crunch® Snoopy |
Nestlé® Butterfinger® Bunny |
When I was a child, I always thought the best part of my Easter basket was the chocolate bunny. That's why I love idea of the Nestlé® Crunch® Snoopy and the Nestlé® Butterfinger® Bunny. Such sweet twists on a traditional Easter treat!
It doesn't hurt that they're both made of solid milk chocolate either. ;-)
Nestlé® Crunch® Shareable Medallion |
Another new sweet Easter treat being offered by Nestlé® this year is their Nestlé® Crunch® Shareable Medallion featuring the iconic duo of Snoopy and Woodstock. Break it in half and share it with a friend or loved one!
SweeTARTS® Chicks, Ducks & Bunnies |
SweeTARTS® Chicks, Ducks & Bunnies |
Prefer something a little more sweet and sour? Then I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear that there are Easter varieties of the popular SweeTARTS® and Nerds®, as well. Like these SweeTARTS® Chicks, Ducks & Bunnies... aren't they adorable?
Almost too cute to eat.
SweeTARTS® Chewy Sours |
SweeTARTS® Chewy Sours |
If you like regular SweeTARTS®, then you may want to try SweeTARTS® Chewy Sours, a new product in Nestlé's 2015 collection of Easter candies. In shades of spring colors, the Chewy Sours deliver a sour punch right at the beginning, but once the hard candy exterior melts away, you're left with a sweet chewy center that balances everything out.
I became addicted to them right away and wound up eating way more than the suggested serving size of 10 pieces. I had to hide the candies in the pantry to prevent myself from eating the entire bag in one sitting!
Hoppin' Nerds |
Hoppin' Nerds |
Looking for more candy that's dressed for spring? Grab a box of the Hoppin' Nerds and try not to eat the the "tiny, tangy, crunchy candies" by the handful.
Unless, of course, that's the way you'd prefer to do it. I won't judge you. Because, honestly, that's how I eat them... when no one's looking (obviously).
Nerds Rope |
Another fun Nerds candy that would be a great addition to your Easter baskets this year? The Nerds Rope!
Nerds Rope |
Before writing this blog post, I had never heard of Nerds Rope before. But once I opened the package to get a closer look, I was totally intrigued. The rope consists of a gummy strand that's been covered with the brightly colored Hoppin' Nerds, so what you're getting is a candy that's soft and chewy on the inside and hard and crunchy on the outside. Win-win, if you ask me!
Have any of these Easter candies from Nestlé caught your eye? Which one(s) would you include in your Easter baskets this year?
