Weekend Reading

We've reached June. But, more importantly, we've reached the first weekend in June. With the new month ahead of us and the long days of summer within reach, I've decided to launch a new series on Taste As You Go.

Or... I should say I'm resurrecting an old series and giving it a new look, using one of my favorite blogs as inspiration. In this weekly "Weekend Reading" series, I'll share some of the articles I've read over the past seven days.

Some articles will, of course, be food-related. Others will focus on the other areas of life that interest me. Like parenting and being a working mother and remembering a time when I could actually see my feet.

Because, even though I'm still figuring out how to find time to write, I never have trouble finding time to read. I mean, thanks to smartphones, you can read a surprising number of articles online while you're brushing your teeth... or standing in the line at Starbucks... or waiting for the pizza to bake.

Without further ado, it's time to kick things off!

  1. Titles to add to our little bookworm's growing library.
  2. I have to remember to make time for myself.
  3. Honestly, the best thing I ever purchased for my bathroom.
  4. We're making more of a conscious effort to limit the plastic toys, and Caroline's imagination seems to be blossoming because of it.
  5. Even though you don't see them, the tantrums are real.
  6. I'm starting to think about what to pack in my hospital bag... Can I have these instead of those silly ice chips?
  7. My mom always made grocery shopping fun.
