Tidbits

Sharing what I'm loving right now, family/life happenings, favorite finds, and whatever else pops into my head.

Although I've been collecting links to share with you since my first Tidbits post, this one's coming to you later than expected today. I've been playing catch-up all week after returning from a conference in Philadelphia.

When we moved into our new house in December, I made the sad discovery that our usual grocery delivery service didn't deliver in our part of town. So I've been schlepping to the grocery store every Saturday, trying to get used to the idea of budgeting time for weekly shopping trips again.

But then, on a whim, I decided to see if another delivery service would deliver to us... and success! We were back in business. Instead of blogging last night as originally planned, I frantically placed a grocery order and scheduled delivery for tomorrow morning. That way, I wouldn't have to stop at the grocery store tomorrow evening after working an event for most of the day.

So... without further ado, here's the next batch of tidbits for you!

  1. I'm making excellent progress with my reading goal for this year and have already read three books: this one, this one, and this one. I'm working on this one now.

  2. Speaking of reading, have you ever referred to something like this to help you decide what to read next?

  3. To help me achieve my goals of reducing food and household waste, I signed up for this subscription box. I can't wait to hear more about greener products for me, my family, and our home. [Use code INVITE7 to get $7 off your fix when you sign up.]

  4. Some of these tips on how to save money on food are pretty helpful.

  5. Did you miss the recipes I shared on the blog last month? Here's a recipe for cookies and a recipe for our favorite spicy sauce.

  6. As I was packing for that work conference, I realized that I no longer fit into the majority of my work pants. Which means I need to buy new pants as soon as humanly possible. I like these and these. These are nice looking, too.
