What's for Dinner: December 15 - December 21

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

I'm a little frustrated. I was hoping to spend some time this weekend finishing decorating our house for the holidays. We located the missing box of ornaments and put them on the tree. I hung up the holiday cards that we've received from family and friends so far, and I put out my nativity set. Despite all that, there is still one area that needs to be decorated... and it's the one area that's proven to be quite a challenge.

The mantel.

Decorating the mantel for the fall didn't pose any problems for me, and I loved how the vignette turned out when I was done. But for some reason, I haven't figured out how to get the look I want for the holidays. I attempted to pick up some finishing touches from HomeGoods after my work event last night... but the items I bought didn't work out the way I had envisioned.

So back to the drawing board... and back to HomeGoods to return most of the things I bought last night.

Maybe giving my brain something else to think about will help inspire some creativity in the decorating department. So let's focus on food for minute, specifically what I've planned for dinner at our house this week.
