Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

The time has come. The moment I have been anticipating since our sweet girl was born.

It's time to make a decision about kindergarten.

Because I work at a school, we're in a unique position. Do we register her at our assigned public elementary school? Or do we figure out a way to make independent school happen so she can go to "my" school?

To help us work through the latter, we've had a series of steps to go through with the school. Stephen and I took the tour a little over a week ago. Then, yesterday, she attended a special visit on campus for prospective kindergarten students.

As expected, she had the time of her life. For her, it was as if her summer camp session started six months early.

So, we have a lot of talking to do before completing any type of official paperwork. While we attempt to get that conversation started... why don't you keep reading to see what I've planned for dinner at our house this week?
