Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

What's for Dinner: February 23 - February 29

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

Even though I hated doing it, I took a brief break from blogging last week.

If you've been reading this blog lately, then you know I've been trying to follow my blogging calendar. I've been sharing new content on Sundays (menu plans), Wednesdays, and alternating Fridays (Tidbits). You may have noticed that I haven't written anything new in a week and I skipped last Wednesday's post.

I just didn't have the stuff.

I thought about waiting until Thursday to share the post... to give myself more time. But my energy was low and the motivation wasn't there. Rather than force it, I accepted the situation and granted myself some time off.

In another chapter of my life, I would have considered that break a failure. But I'm proud of myself for realizing what I needed and making sure I got it. And, you know what? The break really helped.

I'm back on schedule today and ready to move forward. So keep reading to see what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

PS. After some false starts earlier in this year, Stephen and I actually managed to get out of the house for Date Night. Miracles do happen!
