What's for Dinner: September 13 - September 19

It was too nice yesterday to spend all day inside. So we headed to the playground for the first time since March, and the kids had a blast. Our 3yo showed no fear and made it his mission to slide down the tallest twisty slide as many times as possible. Hearing him giggle as he went down the slide, again and again, made me smile. 

It was so nice to have a sliver of normal again... even if it only lasted about an hour.

Now it's time to shift gears. We need to get ready for our daughter's first full week of kindergarten. Add in several evening Zoom meetings for me... and I'm already wondering how I'm going to make it through to the weekend. 

It's during busy weeks like these that I rely on our menu plans even more. If you're curious to see what I've planned for dinner at our house this week, then keep reading!

A Week of Dinners: September 13 - September 19

• Sunday: Shepherd's Pie
  
  
• Monday: Roasted Broccoli and White Cheddar Quiche and Tater Tots
  
  I made two quiches a couple of weeks ago and froze one of them for later. We've reached later.
  
  
• Tuesday: Italian Sausage and White Bean Stew
  
  
• Wednesday: Leftovers
  
  
• Thursday: Spaghetti and Basic Baked Meatballs with Marinara Sauce
  
  Another meal I made ahead. Well, the meatballs at least. This is the last bag of meatballs from a batch I made weeks ago. If you're new to meal-planning, then I highly recommend taking this approach. Make a double or triple batch of something and then freeze some for later!
  
  
• Friday: Pizza with Broccoli and Caramelized Onions
  
  
• Saturday: Shrimp and Vegetable Stir Fry with Jasmine Rice
