What's for Dinner: November 1 - November 7

Welcome to November, everyone!

I hope you had a safe Halloween and that you're surviving the time change as best you can. I'm grateful that our kids let us sleep and played quietly until they heard us get up.

To be honest, I was a little worried about how the kids would handle Daylight Saving. We weren't comfortable with the idea of trick-or-treating this year... so we planned a fun family night at home instead. We had chicken fingers and fries for dinner. Then we followed that with a movie night complete with heaping bowls of buttery popcorn. (With Raisinets toss in for the adults.)

The plan to tire the kids out by keeping them up a little later than usual seems to have worked. Makes me wonder... Do you think I can convince them to take a nap later? 🤔

While I try and take advance of the extra hour to do stuff, here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

PS. Fellow parents... remember when Daylight Saving ending meant an extra hour of sleep?? 🤣
