This is going to sound strange. But I'm looking forward to the long weekend. Even during this time when the weekdays run right into the weekends and back again. While our days blend together and everything seems the same from day to day... I'm grateful to have an extra day to juggle one less thing.

Maybe the kids will even let us sleep in this weekend.

(A mom can dream.)

  5. Our kids are definitely exhibiting signs of this, and it's so, so hard.

  6. Before quarantine, our 2yo was doing really well with potty training thanks to his amazing daycare teachers. As expected, he regressed when he stopped going to school and lost all interest in using the potty. To help pique his interest again, I ordered him this book. It seemed to help because he started warning us that he had to use the bathroom... right after getting into the bathtub. (Better than going in the tub!) When he saw how proud of him we were, he started talking more about using the potty like a big boy. But the thing that really motivated him? Watching videos on this YouTube channel... You're darn right I subscribed to the channel once we saw results!

  7. With the unofficial start of summer right around the corner, I thought I'd share that this is our new favorite brand of hard seltzer. Perfect for day-drinking.

  8. We have a new unofficial pet. It's a frog that lives on the deck under the grill cover. We named the frog Pat.
