Someone asked me the other day what I wanted to do with my blog. Where did I see it going?

I've been blogging for almost thirteen years now... so this is an interesting question to think about. From the beginning, blogging has been a serious hobby of mine. At the time, other areas of my life were out of balance, and blogging gave me a creative outlet. 

Although I considered it briefly, I never had the desire to make this blog my primary source of income. When we started our family, I did just enough to keep the site running. I would post new content every now and then... and I made a wish list of items to fix or update "when I had the time".

But over the past year or two, I made the conscious decision to put more effort into this space. I worked on a redesign. Finally. I started reformatting old recipes and I started updating old blog posts. Then I created new channels for engaging with readers and followers.

It's tedious work, but I'm enjoying it. I enjoy having this space because I love sharing the things that bring me happiness. I'm also so, so grateful to be able to talk about the things I'm struggling with. Because I know this community will offer love and support when I need it.

Where do I see my blog going? In short, I see it going forward. And I hope you stick with me for the journey.
