Cutting Down Family Christmas Tree at the Christmas Tree Farm | Taste As You Go

Now that Thanksgiving is in our rearview, we've turned our focus over to Christmas. If you've seen my Instagram Stories, then you know the kids have already requested I put Mariah Carey on repeat 🤦🏽. 

I started decorating our living room fireplace mantel before Thanksgiving... but I added some more Christmasy pieces this morning. Then my husband and I brought up other boxes of decorations, and we got our Christmas tree this afternoon.

So our house is starting to look pretty festive. I'm looking forward to seeing our tree with lights and ornaments... and I can't wait to finish decorating the rest of the house this weekend!

  1. For the most part, we've put our fall decorations away. But I love these velvet pumpkins and am thinking about ordering some so we'll be ready for next fall. They'd look super cute on top of the dresser we have in the hallway upstairs.

  2. This rolling cart has been a lifesaver in our house. So much so, I ordered two.

  3. Since I started Christmas shopping before Halloween, I also ordered this year's matching family pajamas back in October. Our oldest is a fan of this style, while our youngest still prefers the snug-fit. I am loving that these pajamas are more inclusive in design in that you can choose what skin color Santa has!

  4. This is my new favorite Dudley. Because pockets. I need to order it in all the colors.

  5. With the colder weather comes the return of my winter skin, so I'm trying to stay on top of my water intake. Lately, I've really been into combining sparkling water made with my SodaStream and ruby red grapefruit juice. So refreshing!

  6. I started decorating for Christmas by decorating our mantel. I wanted some more greenery and more twinkly lights, so I bought this garland, and it looks great!

  7. Even with the holidays, I've managed to make time for reading. This is my current read.
