60 Ultimate Cookie Exchange Recipes {and When It's Time to End It}

If you're looking for a winning recipe for your holiday cookie swaps, then scroll through this round-up  of 60 Ultimate Cookie Exchange Recipes on Taste As You Go!   Do you ever get That Feeling in your gut when you realize that what once brought you happiness now fills you with dread? You know the one... It's That Same Feeling that causes you to ask yourself repeatedly " Why am I doing this again?" I've been trying to battle that super persistent feeling for the past few weeks by giving myself little pep talks: "Don't give up now. You DO want to do this!"  "Don't you remember how much you used to love doing this? Just keep going!" " Do it one more time and you'll see -- everything will be fine. You'll feel much better once you get it over with." But no matter how many times I tried to get excited about it, I found a reason to avoid doing it. (Thank you, Caroline.) What's for Dinner: February 27 - March 5

For those not in the know, I create our weekly menu plans on Mondays. At the same time, I'm adding ingredients I need to our grocery cart... By the time I'm finished with the menu plan, I can go ahead and schedule our grocery delivery.

It takes a lot of energy to push through these tasks. Especially on a Monday night. But, in the end, it's worth it to have a plan of attack for dinners.

Of course, life happens... and depending on my mood, it's not uncommon for me to rearrange the menu plan. Or, if it looks like we're going to be heavy on the leftovers, I'll push a meal to the following week. This way, it's less likely that we'll waste the food we already have prepared.

For example, the first version of this week's menu plan called for tortellini for dinner. I planned soup for Monday night. Wanting to get ahead of the game, I decided to make the soup today so I'd only have to reheat it after work tomorrow.

It then occurred to me that it actually made more sense to serve the soup tonight... especially given how easy it is to put together the tortellini. So I switched things around. And I didn't stress about it because I knew I already have everything I needed for both meals.

Just one of the benefits of planning meals in advance!

Curious to see what I have planned for the rest of the week? Keep reading!
