What's for Dinner: April 3 - April 9

Will there ever be a time when I head into the week without feeling exhausted?
We survived our daughter's first week back at school after her break... and the kids and I managed pretty well while my husband was out of town for work.
As a special treat for their excellent behavior... and for doing so well with their bedtime flossing routine... we went out for brunch this morning at one of our favorite restaurants. We also made sure to squeeze in a lot of family time today, including a couple of games of checkers.
Our daughter signed up for the upcoming checkers tournament at her school. Since she just learned how to play a few weeks ago, we wanted to help her practice... not just her strategy, but also her sportsmanship skills. If you could send some good vibes her way, I know she'd appreciate it!
Actually, we could all use some good vibes.
My husband has yet another work trip coming up later this week. Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly at home while he's away... and keep reading if you want to see what I have planned for dinner at our house this week!

- Sunday: Spaghetti and Basic Baked Meatballs with Marinara Sauce
- Monday: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque
- Wednesday: Leftovers
- Friday: Frozen Pizza & Movie Night
- Saturday: Gemelli with Roasted Broccoli, Garlic, and Olive Oil
