What's for Dinner: May 7 - May 13

Grassroots Ice Cream - New Milford, CT | Taste As You Go

Our family stopped by the new ice cream shop in town last weekend. We enjoyed the ice cream so much, I wanted to give them a little extra love on my blog to help spread the word.

With a week full of big things to celebrate -- our daughter's first piano recital, my birthday, and Mother's Day -- I have a feeling we'll be making a return trip very soon.

Until then, it's business as usual. ðŸ˜‰

A Week of Dinners: May 7 - May 13

  • Sunday: Dinner Out

    Our daughter had her very first recital this afternoon, so we went out for a special dinner to celebrate her hard work and her fantastic performance. Such a proud mama!

  • Monday: Pasta Salad with Tomatoes, Carrots, Cucumbers, Broccoli, Bell Peppers, and Hard-Boiled Egg

  • Tuesday: Slow Cooker Crispy Carnitas with Cilantro Lime Rice 

  • Wednesday: Leftovers

  • Thursday: Happy Birthday, Michelle! ðŸŽ‚ / Dinner Out

  • Friday: Frozen Pizza Movie Night

    My husband's heading back on the road for his busy work season, so the kids and I are reinstituting our Frozen Pizza Movie Nights.

  • Saturday: Macaroni and Cheese with Peas and/or Broccoli
