It's taken a few months, but we're finally starting to feel at home in our little corner of Connecticut. The kids are thriving at their new school, and I can't believe how much they've grown since we moved here.
One of the things that amazes me is J's increased vocabulary. He's so much more verbal now and loves to ask "What's this?" His new favorite word is "butterfly" -- thanks, in part, to
this book -- and hearing him say it makes us all smile.
Of course, the changes in the kids' development is much more noticeable when we've had some time apart. Now that they're home from an overnight with my parents, C's a foot taller and J's speaking in full sentences.
Not really, but you know what I mean... At any rate, this week's menu plan is late because I've been soaking in the time with them today. Without further ado, though,
here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week.

Slow Cooker Korean Beef with White Rice
Monday:
Creamy Parmesan Pasta with Peas and Bacon
Tuesday: Stephen's Choice
