What's for Dinner: July 14 - July 20

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

If you've had eyes on my Instagram feed lately, then you already know that I've been chipping away at my 40 Before 40 list. Crossing items off the list makes me feel so productive. But I'm actually surprised by how taking the first step toward completing an item makes me feel.

Like doing research on potential locations for my next mother-daughter trip with Caroline. Or making an appointment with an estate attorney to discuss finalizing our wills. Or, as a result of sharing my 40 Before 40 list, securing the contact information for a financial planner. My deadline to get these things done is definite - my 40th birthday... And that has helped me stay motivated and on track.

Now when I first shared the list, I envisioned myself dedicating a blog post to each item as I crossed them off. But with the way life is going these days, that's not a workable idea.

If you want to see how I'm doing on my progress, then I definitely suggest following me on Instagram. That should keep you satisfied until I carve out some time for a more complete update on the blog. In the meantime, why don't you check out what I've planned for dinner at our house this week?

You know... as a consolation prize. *wink*
