Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

What's for Dinner: August 4 - August 10

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

Crowd cheers at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts

Reentry into our normal routines has been tough for us this past weekend. Last week, we were all off doing things out of the ordinary. I was in Boston at a conference for work most of that time. Stephen also had to travel for work, so the kids spent a few days at my sister's house for an epic cousin sleepover.

I made it home in time for dinner on Friday night, so we reunited over homemade pizza... but it's been a hard road traveled ever since. The kids have been misbehaving and I've had to exert quite a bit of effort to keep my temper.

I know there are ten thousand reasons that could explain their behavior. It's important to remind myself that things will settle down soon... They'll be better. And I'll be better.

One way I can help us routine to our routine is by menu planning. It didn't make sense to map out of a full plan last week since I wasn't going to be home. But now that I'm back from my trip, it's definitely time to get back to business.

To see what I've planned for dinner at our house this week, keep reading!
