3:00 couldn't come fast enough today.

Today was the last day of the Winter Term. And I took next week off from work so I could be home during our sweet girl's birthday week. Usually, I work until about 4:15, but the school had early dismissal this afternoon.

And I was all about it.

(Judging by the number of cars in the pick-up line at 2:30... I'm guessing a lot of people were all about ending the week a little early. 🤣)

I'm looking forward to unplugging from work and recharging. (That sounds a little funny.) I wish we were packing our bags and headed off for an adventure somewhere exciting... Alas, not this year.

Instead, we'll have a staycation at home with some fund outings scheduled here and there. The most important item on the agenda? Celebrating our sweet girl's sixth birthday on Tuesday 🎂.

Before I sign off to enjoy the start of my time off, here's a new batch of Tidbits for you to read when you find time this weekend... Enjoy!

  1. This video took 600 pancakes to make.

  2. I wonder... Should I spend part of my week off from work making this DIY art piece? Because I kinda want to...

  3. I recently took advantage of a killer sale and snagged this puffer vest, this hat, and this ultralight down jacket. Plus these mittens for our 3yo. I love a good sale.

  4. We're approaching our one-year mark of pandemic living. This video helped us laugh a little about it.

  5. Our youngest loves books and wants to read them "in his head" like his big sister does. I bought him this book to prove that you don't need to know how to read words to experience a wonderful story. The book is now a favorite in the reading rotation.

  6. Speaking of books, I finished my third book of 2021... Nine more to go to hit my goal.

Have a great weekend, everyone! I hope you can find some time for yourself to do something that fills your cup and makes you happy!
