Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

What's for Dinner: March 20 - March 26

I debated whether this week's plan was worth sharing with you. My husband will be traveling for work later in the week. So, to make life easier, I planned some low-maintenance meals for me and the kids.

It would have been easy to skip blogging this week. My writing rhythm hasn't been the same since I was sick back in January. But, in the end, I figured publishing something was better than publishing nothing.

So here it is!

Keep reading if you want to see what I have planned for dinner at our house this week! And let me know what you think of the easy meals on deck for later in the week. 😉

A Week of Dinners: March 20 - March 26

  • Sunday: Pasta with Tomato Meat Sauce

Pasta with Tomato Meat Sauce | Taste As You Go

Since I'm writing this post a few hours after we had dinner tonight, I can say that I improvised when it came to making the sauce. I sauteed onions and garlic in olive oil and then added some ground beef. I cooked the vegetables until the beef was brown, and then I added the canned tomatoes. After cooking the sauce down for a little while, I seasoned it with dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

The whole meal was a hit!

  • Wednesday: Leftovers

  • Thursday: Macaroni and Cheese with Peas

  • Friday: Frozen Pizza and Movie Night

The kids are already looking forward to this. I love that we have a little tradition when my husband is out of town. It makes it easier.

  • Saturday: Chicken Fingers and French Fries

What do you have planned for dinner at your house this week?
