Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

What's for Dinner: July 26 - August 1

Looking for dinner inspiration? Here's what I've planned for dinner at our house this week!

If you've spent any real time with me, then you know I have a giving soul. If you need anything, I do my best to help. But I have a hard time asking for help when I need it. And I have an even harder time saying no and taking care of my needs. Most of the time I feel guilty about doing what I need to do to make sure my own heart is full.

That's why my 40 Before 40 challenge was so essential. I had 40 reasons to focus on myself and to devote time to my goals and aspirations.

But once I completed my challenge, with mere hours to spare, I slipped back into putting others first. While I don't have a formal list of items to cross off, I'm hoping to spend time this week resting and recharging. I need to do something to make myself happy. Something for me and only me. I need to remember (and believe) that I'm worth this investment.

Because if I don't, well... Who will?

I'm going to start by sharing this week's menu plan. Because writing this blog gives me joy. And sticking to my blogging schedule always feels like an accomplishment. So, if you're curious to see what I've planned for dinner at our house this week, then keep reading!

A Week of Dinners: July 26 - August 1

I had a hard time coming up with a plan for this week. Meal planning is so exhausting and time-consuming and I had to push through a serious lack of motivation to get this done. We'll see if I actually follow the plan!

What do you have planned for dinner at your house this week?
