Typically, our family waits until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations. But when King of Christmas reached out to me in June about a potential partnership, I couldn’t resist the chance to showcase their stunning selection of artificial Christmas trees , wreaths, and garlands .  I was excited to get an early start on making our home holiday-ready this year!

Sunday.

We meet again.

If I'm being honest... I'm a little very relieved that Sunday is here. That means my husband is back from his work trip... and the kids are going back to school tomorrow after being sick with colds for the better part of a week.

(Yes, she missed part of the checkers tournament at school. She was sick enough not to care too much about missing it. Poor bunny.)

If you follow me on Instagram and you saw my Stories... then you know it was a rough few days in our house. I'm ready for things to shift back to normal.

In case you missed it, I finally shared my focus word for 2022, and I created a new Instagram reel. If you haven't seen either yet and you have some time, I'd be so grateful if you'd check them out.

Now, for the real reason you're here right now. Without further ado -- here's our menu plan for the week!

A Week of Dinners: April 10 - April 16

  • SundaySpicy Orange Sesame Chicken with White Rice and Roasted Broccoli

  • Monday15-Minute Chile-Lime Salmon Tacos and Yellow Rice

  • Tuesday: "Big Salad" with Spring Mix, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Carrots, Bell Peppers, Hard-Boiled Egg, and Croutons

  • Wednesday: Leftover Night / Stephen's Choice

  • Thursday: Macaroni and Cheese with Broccoli

My husband and I are going on an actual DATE NIGHT this week. Granted, it's really a work event for me, but we're going to take what we can get. So the kids will get to enjoy mac and cheese with their babysitter while we're out.

  • FridayWhite Pizza with Fresh Arugula and Prosciutto

White Pizza with Fresh Arugula and Prosciutto | Taste As You Go

I'll make the white pizza for the adults and a frozen pizza (pepperoni) for the kids. They're a little obsessed with frozen pizza now, so I figured I'd indulge them this time.

Namely, because I don't want to share the white pizza with them! 🤣

  • SaturdayDutch Oven Lasagna

What do you have planned for dinner at your house this week?
