Happy Sunday, everyone!

It's a big week for our family. Not only are the kids officially on Spring Recess for the next three weeks... our daughter turns eight on Thursday!

Per tradition, my husband and I have something special planned to celebrate the occasion, and we can't wait to tell the kids what it is.

But before we get there, I popped out of town for a solo overnight trip and left my husband in charge of making dinner for him and the kids. To help him out a little bit, though, I did write a whole menu plan for the week so he didn't have to worry about deciding what to make.

I'm such a nice wife. 😉

A Week of Dinners: March 5 - March 11

  • SundaySlow Cooker Orange Chicken with White Rice

    Reports from the homefront indicate that this dish needed a little extra kick. Something to give it a little spice.

    PS. The bowl of ramen in the photo above? That's what I had for dinner tonight. With a seaweed salad starter. ðŸ’¯

  • MondayInstant Pot Minestrone Soup and Baguette Slices

  • TuesdayMake Ahead Bean and Cheese Burritos with Avocado

  • Wednesday: Chicken and Waffles (adapted from this recipe)

  • Thursday: Dinner Out

    We'll be celebrating our daughter's EIGHTH birthday with dinner out as a family. Can't wait!

  • Friday: Pizza with Spicy Italian Sausage, Broccoli Rabe, and Caramelized Onions

  • SaturdayVietnamese Beef Noodle Salad
