35 Classic Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipes

Still need to plan your Thanksgiving menu? If you're looking for inspiration, then check out this fantastic round-up Classic Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipes on Taste As You Go! You know how some people get really excited about the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks? That's how excited I get about turning the calendar over to November. Well, it's here.

Thanksgiving week.

We're only days away from my favorite holiday and my favorite meal of the year.

Our turkey, which my employer generously gifted to our family, is defrosting in the fridge... And now that I have all the ingredients I need to make the meal, I can sketch out the rest of my prep timeline.

I hope you and your loved ones are able to gather this week and enjoy some time together. I'm looking forward to having some time off from work and some time with the kids. After Thanksgiving, we'll go hunting for this year's Christmas tree... and then we'll start decorating the house in all things twinkling.

Other than that, my main goal over the next week is to slow down and drink in this special time of year. I may even take a break from social media to really give myself a chance to recharge.

In case that does happen... I want you to know that I'm so grateful for this blog and for the community that has grown from it. I'm grateful for the grace and support you've shown during my "quiet" times... and for the encouragement you've showered upon me during my "productive" ones.

If you'd like to see what's on deck for dinner this week -- including what's on our Thanksgiving menu -- then keep reading! And, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
