As the weather warms up here in New England, it's the perfect time to give your wardrobe a little spring refresh. After months of layering up, our favorite basics—like tee shirts and tank tops —can start to show signs of wear. Whether it's stretched-out necklines, faded colors, or mystery stains that just won't budget, spring is the ideal season to replace those go-to pieces. As moms, we're so focused on taking care of everyone else that it's easy to overlook our own needs. But something as simple as replacing a few well-loved pieces can be a form of self-care —reminding us that we deserve to feel comfortable, confident, and put-together, too. Sometimes, when I sit down to write, it takes me a little while to get going. Especially if I'm tired or I'm juggling a lot.

That usually means spending way too much time staring at a blank screen... which usually results in me feeling like I'm just wasting my time.

So I'm going to try something different.

I'm going to stop writing intros to my Tidbits posts... at least for the time being. This way I can get straight to the point without feeling the pressure to come up with a witty lead-in.

Without further ado, here's my latest Tidbits post. If you have some time this weekend, I hope you give it a read!

  1. This article is the single most helpful resource about plant care that I've come across in all the years I've been trying to keep our houseplants alive.

  2. Speaking of plants... Depending on who you ask, having faux plants instead of real ones is a faux pas. If that's true, then it's a shame... because I like this one. You know, in case I kill the live plants we do have.

  3. Spring is here, so I'll be adding more salads to our menu plans as the weather warms up. Time to bookmark this list of salad dressing ideas so we can try some new ones!

  4. Given how much the kids love building with LEGOs, I just bought them each this set for their Easter baskets.

  5. I also like to give the kids new spring-themed pajamas on Easter, so I ordered this pajama set for my son and this matching nightgown for my daughter.

  6. Right now, we don't have a good way of storing bread in our kitchen. It just sort of sits out on our counter and clutters up the space. But maybe with this bread box, it won't have to be like that for much longer.

  7. Late-night Instagram scrolling got me again, and I ordered this tinted eye cream (with SPF) to help improve the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. Hoping this helps me look a little less tired...

  8. I'm slowly adding more pieces for spring to my wardrobe and I love this sweater blazer.
